Drake’s run in the UK hit a brief snag this week as he announced a change to his scheduled Manchester performance. The rapper was set to take the stage at the Co-Op Arena on July 28th, but fans will now have to wait until August 5 to see the show. The delay, according to venue officials, stems from unexpected transportation problems. “Due to unforeseen ferry schedule and travel logistics, tomorrow’s performance in Manchester on July 28th has been rescheduled,” read a message from the arena. “The good news is that Drake will now perform in Manchester on Tuesday, August 5th, and it’s set to be an unforgettable night.” Those who already purchased tickets can still use them for the new date. Despite the hiccup, Drake’s time in the UK has been anything but uneventful. While in Birmingham, the Canadian superstar paid homage to one of the city’s most iconic figures: Ozzy Osbourne. Walking out to Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man,” Drake saluted the late rock legend with a message to the crowd: “Hey Birmingham! Rest in peace to the legendary Ozzy Osbourne.” Earlier that day, he was spotted at a tribute site where he poured out a shot of tequila in Ozzy’s honor. “I just came out to pay respects to someone who lived it to the fullest,” he told The New York Times. The Manchester delay comes as Drake continues promoting his latest single “Which One,” a track that teams him up with UK rap star Central Cee. The song leans into afrobeats and dancehall influences, with Drake delivering his verses in a Caribbean-flavored cadence. With new music and more UK dates on the horizon, the delay is just a bump in the road for the 6 God’s international takeover.

 The Weeknd was awarded the ultimate honor from his hometown of Toronto. On Saturday (July 26), the “Save Your Tears” received the Key to the City and a citywide proclamation of “The Weeknd Weekend” from July 26-27.  Complex reported that the City of Toronto recognized” the pop star actor for his accomplishments as a singer-songwriter and producer, his enduring humanitarian efforts, and his dedication to giving back to his city.” During the private ceremony, The Weeknd was presented by Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow, who was attended by youth from West Scarborough and The Weeknd’s alma mater, Birchmount Park Collegiate Institute. The honor was given just before the second leg of the singer’s After Hours Til Dawn 2025 Tour, which will run in Toronto from July 27–28 and August 7–8. “I’m deeply honored to receive the Key to the City. Busta Rhymes is receiving his long-overdue flowers The hip-hop legend will be honored with the 2,818th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony is slated for Friday, August 1, at 11:30 am PT at 6201 Hollywood Boulevard in front of East Town. Rhymes will be honored with his star in the category of Recording. In a match made in comedy heaven, Eddie Murphy’s son, Eric Murphy, married Martin Lawrence’s daughter, Jasmin Lawrence. Speaking with Extra’s  Terri Seymour at Sunday’s L.A. premiere of his new action-comedy The Pickup, Murphy shared his thoughts on his growing family. “We were friends for years and years. So, you know, it’s just, you know, cool to say, ‘Hey, now we’re in the family,’ but we, Martin and I, have been buddies for years,” Murphy said. As a gift (and surprise) to fans, the singer brought two of her close friends and former Destiny’s Child bandmates — Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland. The trio would go on to perform some of their iconic tracks like ” Lose My Breath” and “Bootylicious.” Despite the girl group officially disbanding in 2006 — following the release of their fourth studio album, Destiny’s Child Fulfilled — they’ve kept in touch over the years and performed with one another quite frequently. Last November, Michelle Williams debuted in the Broadway musical Death Becomes Her. As expected, Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland were in tow, showing their full support. Williams portrayed the character of Viola Van Horn. The musical was inspired by the 1992 film of the same name, which starred Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, and Bruce Willis. Around the same time, Tyler Perry premiered his 2024 film, Mea Culpa, in which Rowland starred, and Beyoncé was by her side. Tina Knowles and Jay-Z were also in attendance. The singer shared the moment on Instagram, with the caption, “Dats my best friend! Dats my best friend!!!!! So proud of you Kelly.” Back in February, the Renaissance singer and Michelle were spotted alongside Kelly for her 44th birthday. Earlier this month, Doechii sat down with British Vogue ahead of its August issue. In this interview, she gave insight into the theme for her next project. While she acknowledged it’ll have a similar feel to Alligator Bites Never Heal, she’s concentrating on expressing “deep vulnerability.” The Grammy winner said her next project will chronicle her journey with the “new lessons” she’s learned since her meteoric rise to fame. “It’s gonna be the new lessons that I’m learning, and that’s why I say it’s hard to talk about now,” she says. On Saturday (July 27), Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform. He accused Beyoncé and Oprah Winfrey, along with a few others, of being paid to endorse Kamala Harris’ presidential election campaign. The President revealed that he’s been examining the “large amount of money” owned by the Democratic Party. According to Trump, the Democrats “illegally” paid the singer nearly $11,000,000. However, he believes it wasn’t a good decision because Beyoncé “never sang, not one note, and left the stage to a booing and angry audience!” Regarding Oprah, Trump claims that the TV host and entrepreneur was paid at least $3,000,000 for “expenses.” Donald Trump/truthsocial.com ‘Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying for people to endorse them?’ Trump Says Trump also called out activist and TV host Al Sharpton, referring to him as a “low-rated TV anchor,” alleging that he paid around $600,000 to get behind Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign. Kamala, and all of those that received Endorsement money, BROKE THE LAW. They should all be prosecuted!” In other news, in a recent memo, the White House confirmed that Donald Trump was diagnosed with Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI). “The President underwent a comprehensive examination. It included diagnostic vascular studies. Bilateral lower extremity venous Doppler ultrasounds were performed and revealed Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI),” said White House physician Sean Barbabella. Not long ago, Donald Trump was spotted at the Club World Cup soccer final in New Jersey. He appeared to have very severely swollen legs and ankles. According to Barbabella, CVI is a “benign and common condition, particularly in individuals over the age of 70.” Per the National Institutes of Health, CVI is “a condition in which the flow of superficial or deep venous blood is impaired, causing venous hypertension. CVI encompasses several pathological changes (eg, lower extremity edema, skin trophic changes, and discomfort) that result secondary to venous hypertension.”
